Refined School Identity System
Celebrating 70 years and the opening of a new campus, we developed a cohesive brand design for Cherokee High School that strengthens school pride while unifying all visual communication. The refreshed identity balances tradition with a modern edge, ensuring consistency across academic, athletic, and community-facing materials.
Expanded Brand Marks Spanning the Campus
A suite of 200+ supporting brand marks was created to give Cherokee High School flexibility across teams, facilities, departments, and clubs. These secondary logos reinforce recognition while allowing each program to maintain its own distinct presence within a unified system.
Facility Branding Defining the Campus
We extended the brand into the physical environment through strategic facility branding, enhancing school spirit throughout campus spaces. From signage to interior and exterior applications, every touchpoint was designed to create a more immersive and inspiring school experience.
Merchandising & Spirit Wear Application
The brand was translated into a versatile merchandising system for apparel and spirit wear. Designed to be bold, wearable, and consistent, the merchandise strengthens community identity and gives students, staff, and supporters a unified way to represent Cherokee High School.

We are incredibly proud of the complete brand package developed for Cherokee High School as we celebrate 70 years of tradition and the opening of our new facilities. The final identity captures both our history and our future in a way that feels meaningful, unified, and modern.
One of the most exciting elements has been seeing it come to life at our facilities, especially with the giant “C” on the football field and basketball court. It’s become a powerful symbol of pride for our students, staff, and community. Oak Mark has created a lasting legacy for another 70 years.
